Triple clamp kit type 5
Here's our inhouse CNC-machined triple clamp set type 5 (Triple clamp sizes: top and below 30-35 mm, 2 clampings) made from high strength aluminum.
Our triple clamp types from type 1 to type 6 are universal triple clamps/fork bridges, which are individually manufactured by us according to your wishes. For even more individual inquiries, please feel free to contact us by mail or phone, we are always happy to advise you and send you an offer by mail. We manufacture triple clamps for almost all standpipe distances, clamp diameters and offsets. Also we can consider original cockpits and ignition locks as well as after sale cockpits that are integrated in the triple clamp (f.e. motoscope pro).
Fork covers: It is also possible to prepare the triple clamp for fork covers. Because we have to consider additional things here, please contact us via e-mail or phone.
The type 5 triple clamp was developed primarily for length compensation for forks that are too short. The cranking (30 or 35 mm) lengthens the fork and more ground clearance is achieved. This also affects the trail accordingly.
With a fork conversion the following criteria are always to be considered:
- Which brake system should be used in the fork conversion? (The original brake system or the brake system matching the fork? Both are possible, but the brake system matching the fork is recommended.)
- Which front wheel will be used? (The original front wheel or the wheel matching the fork? The wheel matching the fork is recommended.)
- Clamping diameter of the fork top and bottom
- Fork tube distance center - center
- Offset (center steering tube to center fork tube)
- Dimension of the steering tube (best with a sketch, which you send us in addition to the order via e-mail)
- Dimension of the steering stops (best with a sketch, which you send us in addition to the order via e-mail)
If you are technically proficient enough to measure the desired triple clamp yourself, then please download the following form and send it to us filled out by e-mail with your order number from the store (if you have configured and ordered something here) to info@rf-biketech.de. You then select "Production via sketch" in the variants. We add the missing dimensions (f.e. the heights of the triple clamps etc.) ourselves when we manufacture the triple clamp.
If you do not have the detailed measurements or are unsure, you can alternatively send the parts to us and we measure them ourselves. In that case, please select "Sample via mail" in the variants.
For the sample package we need the following parts from you:
- lower original triple clamp of the bike
- lower triple clamp of the new fork
- upper original triple clamp (only if original steering lock and original cockpit are reinstalled)
Of course you will get the parts back intact. They serve exclusively for the measurement. These measurements are so important, because during the production of your desired triple clamp the distance measurements can be taken into account (fork tube distance to each other), so that later the wheel and the brake system can be installed without further adapters.
The steering stops or speedometer holders on the respective pictures here will of course look different on your triple clamp than on our sample pictures.
