Triple clamp kit BMW K 100/K 1100 type 5
Here's our inhouse CNC-machined triple clamp set for the BMW K 100/1100 (Top triple clamp cranking: 35 mm) made from high strength aluminum. The triple clamp is manufactured for handlebar stubs that are mounted on top of the upper triple clamp – Note: The triple clamp kit comes WITHOUT handlebar stubs! These are seperately available here in the store.
This triple clamp is manufactured individually for your fork conversion. If you have an even more individual inquiry, we kindly ask you to contact us via mail or phone.
With a fork conversion the following criteria are always to be considered:
- Which brake system should be used in the fork conversion? (The original brake system or the brake system matching the fork? Both are possible, but the brake system matching the fork is recommended.)
- Which front wheel will be used? (The original front wheel or the wheel matching the fork? The wheel matching the fork is recommended.)
- Clamping diameter of the fork top and bottom
- Fork tube distance center - center
- Offset (center steering tube to center fork tube)
- Dimension of the steering tube (best with a sketch, which you send us in addition to the order via e-mail)
- Dimension of the steering stops (best with a sketch, which you send us in addition to the order via e-mail)
If you are technically proficient enough to measure the desired triple clamp yourself, then please download the following form and send it to us filled out by e-mail with your order number from the store (if you have configured and ordered something here) to info@rf-biketech.de. You then select "Production via sketch" in the variants. We add the missing dimensions (f.e. the heights of the triple clamps etc.) ourselves when we manufacture the triple clamp.
If you do not have the detailed measurements or are unsure, you can alternatively send the parts to us and we measure them ourselves. In that case, please select "Sample via mail" in the variants.
For the sample package we need the following parts from you:
- lower original triple clamp of the bike
- lower triple clamp of the new fork
- upper original triple clamp (only if original steering lock and original cockpit are reinstalled)
Of course you will get the parts back intact. They serve exclusively for the measurement. These measurements are so important, because during the production of your desired triple clamp the distance measurements can be taken into account (fork tube distance to each other), so that later the wheel and the brake system can be installed without further adapters.
The steering stops or speedometer holders on the respective pictures here will of course look different on your triple clamp than on our sample pictures.
